The guide on how to work with the Linux 8 Stream

  1. After purchasing and starting the VM, you need to find its IP address. You can find it in the personal account of Azure. (Select the virtual machine from the list. Click on the “Overview” item, and your IP address will be displayed in the “Public IP Address” line.)

  1. To connect to the VM, you will require the PuTTY application for SSH connections. You can download it from the following link: Download
  2. Run Putty, enter the VM’s IP address in the “Host” field, and click “Open” initiate the connection.

  1. In the opened console, enter the username and password that were specified when creating the virtual machine.

Now you can work with a completely clean Linux 8 Stream
