The guide how to work with Linux 7.9 with Nextcloud File Share Server

  1. After purchasing and starting the VM you should know its IP address. You can find it in the personal account of Azure. (You need to select the virtual machine from the list. By clicking the item “Overview”, your IP is displayed in the line “Public IP Address”).
  1. To work, you must open port 80 (TCP) in the network properties in the azure firewall
  2. To access the admin panel, you need to enter in the address bar http://yourVM’sIP/
  3. To enter, use the following data:  username- “admin”, password- “admin
  4. You need to enter a username and password, then click Log in
  1. To change the password, go to the settings by clicking on your icon
  2. Select ‘Security’
  3. Enter the current and new password, following which confirm the changes
  4. To upload files to the cloud, click the corresponding button.
